Who we are
BuiltYouASite ("we", "us", "our") is a small website-building service operating from the United Kingdom. This privacy policy covers our website at builtyouasite.co.uk.
What we collect
This site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no behavioural advertising. We do not set cookies on your browser.
If you submit the contact form or email us at hello@builtyouasite.co.uk, we'll receive your message and any details you choose to share (typically your name, email address, optional phone number, and a description of your business). That information is used solely to reply and to discuss any work you'd like to commission.
Contact form
Our contact form is handled by Web3Forms, a third-party form-forwarding service. When you submit the form, the details you enter are sent through Web3Forms's servers and forwarded to our inbox. Web3Forms does not use form data for marketing or share it with third parties. Their privacy policy is available at web3forms.com/privacy.
Hosting and infrastructure
Our website is served by Cloudflare Pages. As part of normal HTTP traffic, Cloudflare may log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and request timestamps for security and performance purposes. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
If you email us, your message is delivered through IONOS, our email provider. IONOS's privacy practices are documented on their website.
How we use your data
If you get in touch, we use the email address and any details you provide to respond to your enquiry. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
If we work together on a website project, we'll keep the contact details and business information you share with us for the duration of our work and for a reasonable period afterwards (so we can support what we've built).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to certain uses of it.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@builtyouasite.co.uk.
